Frizzante / Spumante

The main difference between these two types of sparkling wines is the content of carbon dioxide which is reflected in the amount of bubbles.

Spumante has more bubbles (7 g C02/l) with the pressure of 6 atmospheres in a bottle; on the other hand, frizzante hardly ever exceeds 3 g CO2/l. What is more, the content of alcohol is lower and the content of sugar is higher.
